* £24,000 to £26,000
* 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday
* 25 days holiday + BH
The Burford Recruitment Company is delighted to be partnering with a growing financial services firm based in Burford. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to step into the finance sector.
You’ll be joining a friendly and dynamic team, working closely with the Management Accountant and Financial Controller, supporting them with day-to-day financial operations.
Responsibilities
* Answer calls, assist with queries, and direct to relevant teams when required
* Respond to queries in the accounts inbox and ensure timely replies
* Post incoming payments and perform daily reconciliations
* Make daily payments and handle any related queries
* Monitor and manage outstanding debts, ensuring timely collection of payments
* Communicate effectively with relevant parties to resolve payment discrepancies or disputes
* Support the Management Accountant with any other ad hoc tasks as required
Skills and attributes required
* No previous experience necessary, ideal for individuals eager to progress within the finance sector
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving ability
* Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt
