Job Title: Junior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Norwich
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 + Benefits

A leading and fast-growing acoustic consultancy is seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join its expanding Norwich team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with experience in environmental or building acoustics to advance their career while contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects across the East of England and beyond.

In this role, you'll be involved in delivering high-quality technical work, completing noise assessments, building strong client relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the company's acoustic services.

Key responsibilities:

Undertaking environmental noise surveys and building acoustics assessments

Producing technical reports, noise impact assessments, and acoustic modelling outputs

Liaising confidently with clients, planning teams, and local authorities

Supporting senior staff on complex project work

Assisting with bids, proposals, and wider business development activities

Required skills & experience:

Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Science, or similar

Experience in environmental noise or building acoustics

Strong technical writing and communication skills

Knowledge of key acoustic standards (e.g., BS4142, BS8233)

Full UK driving licence
