The Role

They are looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to support their clients and internal teams with day-to-day accounting. This is a perfect role for someone starting their bookkeeping career, looking to gain experience in a professional accountancy practice.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Maintain accurate client records and bookkeeping systems (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)

  * 

    Process sales and purchase invoices, receipts, and payments

  * 

    Reconcile bank statements and client accounts

  * 

    Prepare VAT returns and assist with payroll where required

  * 

    Assist senior accountants with accounts preparation

  * 

    Support the team with ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks

About You

  * 

    Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)

  * 

    Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping

  * 

    Highly organised, accurate, and detail-oriented

  * 

    Strong communication skills and client-focused attitude

  * 

    Eager to learn and grow within a professional accountancy firm
