The Junior Buyer - Homeware will support the purchasing team in sourcing and managing products within the homeware category. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving retail environment while developing your career in buying.

An excellent opportunity for a Junior Buyer to work for a leading business in home décor in the Chesterfield area. They have been trading for over 40 years and sell everything from Beds, Chairs, cushions/ throws etc. Due to growth they are seeking a Junior Buyer
Description
Assist in sourcing and purchasing products in line with company requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Monitor market trends to identify potential opportunities and cost-saving strategies.
Support the negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers.
Work closely with other departments to align procurement with business needs.
Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all purchasing activities.
Assist in managing stock levels and inventory control.
Provide regular reports on procurement activities to senior management.Profile
A successful Junior Buyer should have:
Previous experience or knowledge in the retail industry or procurement.
A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
