As a Junior Demand Planner, you will:
* Ensure timely supply of materials to UK Customers, maximising production efficiency
* Collaborate with customer service to meet customer requirements
* Maintain efficient communication routes across departments
* Liaise with the procurement team on raw material forecasts
* Own supply planning, scheduling, and capacity activities
* Monitor and enhance plant On-Time In Full (OTIF) performance
* Support combined order planning by identifying opportunities for product combinations
* Propose and implement solutions to improve planning processes and KPIs
This role is a progressive position and as long as you have the following qualities there is no reason that you could be a success in this role!
* Calm under pressure - able to maintain composure and deliver results in challenging situations.
* Strong problem-solving skills - proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
* Confident communicator - comfortable engaging at all levels and across different departments.
* Excellent prioritisation - capable of managing workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated - confident using own initiative to drive tasks forward.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office - including Excel for data handling and reporting.
* SAP experience - desirable but not essential; training can be provided.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
* Relevant experience in a planning role preferred but not essential
* Strong numerical and analytical skills to critically assess data
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, with experience in statistical forecasting
* Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
* Experience with SAP or similar Supply Chain Planning Tools
* Background in forecasting and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
