We’re working with a market-leading control systems design specialist who are expanding their BMS Controls department. They’re now looking for a Junior Electrical CAD Technician to join their growing team. If you have a passion for CAD design, we would love to hear from you.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s eager to learn, gain hands-on experience, and grow within a supportive environment. Full training and mentoring will be provided, so if you’re ambitious and motivated, this could be the role for you!
Your position will be full time (Monday – Friday) and office based, working hours are 8:30am - 16:30pm

Competitive salary from £24,000.00 – £35,000.00 (dependent on experience, with full training provided)

What you’ll be doing:
Producing electrical wiring and panel drawings using AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical
Creating control panel GA and wiring drawings
Drafting BMS panel GA and wiring drawings
Assisting with all drafting and design activities within the BMS Controls department
Working to project deadlines and supporting the wider engineering team
What we’re looking for:
Some knowledge of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical (training will be given)
A keen interest in electrical design and engineering
Confident IT skills (MS Office & design systems)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
A full UK driving licence and access to vehicle
This role is ideal for candidates based around Swindon, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Chippenham, Highworth and surrounding areas
