Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
Design and detailing of bespoke and standard equipment/systems ensuring quality standards/procedures are met
Control panel design using AutoCAD Electrical
Evaluating customer requirements and developing into project plans
Interface with manufacturing departments to ensure project delivery
Interfacing with customers and suppliers to provide technical support
Research and development
Occasional travel to support customers
Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
Minimum HNC qualified within an Electrical/Electronic discipline
Experience in Autocad Electrical will be advantageous but not essential
Experience of process automation highly desirable
Experience in a similar role with proven success
Knowledge of BS 7671 (wiring regulations) and BS EN 60204 (machine safety)
Experience of testing control panels/systems
Attention to detail is vital to ensure project accuracy
Capable of working well within a team or off own initiative
Located in Manchester, this role would be commutable from Rochdale, Bolton, Oldham, Huddersfield, Blackburn and surrounding areas.
