Job Description
Our client, a prominent company in the data centre sector, is seeking a Junior Electrical Project Engineer to join their operations team in Dublin, Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring engineer to enhance their career within a forward-thinking, full building services solutions provider.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical engineering projects from concept through to completion
Support senior engineers in preparing technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design and safety standards
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project components
Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes
Ensure all work complies with relevant Irish and EU regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies
Maintain accurate project records and assist in preparing reports for internal and client use
Compile the Operation and Maintenance Manual, as well as oversee the commissioning and handover process
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and design principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel to project sites within Ireland
