£25,000 - £27,000 Basic salary, 23 day holiday plus bank holiday, pension scheme, over time.

My client is an established engineering services provider, delivering high-quality mechanical and hydraulic solutions across a variety of industrial sectors. Due to ongoing growth, we're seeking a hands-on Junior Engineer to join our team in Croydon. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in a supportive and technically challenging environment.
The Role
As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you'll assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic and mechanical systems. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on both in-house and site-based projects, gaining valuable industry experience and training.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the design, installation, and testing of hydraulic and mechanical systems
Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections
Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and support mechanical repairs
Work with senior engineers on client-site projects and in the workshop
Maintain clear documentation and service records
Adhere to all health and safety standards and company procedures
You must have -
1–2 years’ experience in a mechanical or hydraulic engineering environment (including internships or placement years)
Understanding of hydraulic systems and schematics are advantageous but not essential.
Hands-on mechanical experience is essential.
Strong teamwork and communication skills
UK Driving Licence (required for site visits)
Hunger to learn and develop through extensive training.
