Junior Environmental Consultant
 Location: Bath
 Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 + Benefits

A well-established environmental consultancy is seeking a Junior Environmental Consultant to join their growing team in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to develop their skills across a wide range of environmental and geoenvironmental projects.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting site investigations, environmental assessments, and technical reporting, while working alongside experienced consultants in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with Phase 1 Desk Studies and environmental risk assessments
Supporting Phase 2 site investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling
Logging soil and rock in accordance with industry standards
Assisting in the preparation of factual and interpretative reports
Supporting the development of remediation strategies
Ensuring health and safety compliance on-site 

Requirements

Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field
Some relevant consultancy or site experience (placement or internship desirable)
Basic understanding of contaminated land and ground investigation processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
