Junior Estimator
Terrington St Clement, Office-Based with Site Travel
£30,000-£40,000 + Van + Full Training + Career Development + Supportive Team + Benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Estimator to join a growing and well-established construction and maintenance business, offering full training and the chance to develop into a fully-fledged Estimator.

This company delivers a wide range of projects, including reactive maintenance, refurbishments, insurance works, and external schemes. Known for its supportive and collaborative culture, they are now looking for a Junior Estimator to join the team and learn from experienced professionals.
You will support the estimating and commercial team in all aspects of the tendering process, gaining hands-on experience across pricing, take-offs, subcontractor engagement, and project cost management.
The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn, organised, and detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in construction and estimating. Any prior exposure to construction, pricing, or surveying would be beneficial but is not essential.

The Role:
Support pricing activities, including take-offs, SORs, and tender/quotation preparation
Assist with subcontractor and material enquiries while maintaining accurate records and systems
Work alongside senior staff on cost management, valuations, variations, and final accounts
Attend site visits, surveys, and meetings to gain hands-on project experience and development
The Person:
Keen interest in construction, estimating, or building surveying, with a strong willingness to learn
Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage workload and priorities effectively
Strong communication skills with a proactive and positive attitude
Previous construction experience is beneficial but not essential
