The role of the Junior Estimator – Roofing Systems will involve:
* Junior Estimator position dealing with a range of roofing services across industrial, commercial and residential sectors such as: flat roofing, pithed roofing, metal & zinc roofing, lead roofing, green roofs and roof repairs
* Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements
* Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required
* Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices
* Producing formal quotations to clients
* Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
* Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
* Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
* Estimating for projects ranging in value up to circa £1m
The ideal applicant will be a Junior Estimator – Roofing Systems with:
* Must be Excel savvy
* Ideally will have some experience within an estimating environment
* Ideally will have experience within the roofing market sector
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong numerical skills
* IT literate (Microsoft Office, particularly savvy in Excel)
* Confident and articulate individual
