Junior Field Service Engineer (Solar)

Luton - Commutable from Bedford, Bletchley, Watford 

£30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus + Vehicle + Pension + Excellent Holidays + Overtime + Training 

Are you early in your electrical career; either a recent university or college graduate or electricians mate, looking to gain experience in the solar sector?

This company provides specialist operations and maintenance to solar farms across Europe. Their portfolio has continued to grow and is expecting to consistently expand over the coming years, requiring highly qualified individuals to continue providing an industry leading service.

In this role you will be completing basic on site activities, alongside experienced field service engineers. These include; visual inspection of solar assets, meter readings and maintenance, corrective measures and also stock management to ensure full operational capacity of on site PV systems. 

The ideal candidate will have basic electrical knowledge, you may have recently completed an electrically biased university degree or college course, alternatively you could be an electricians mate with the desire to gain solar experience. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a renewable energy specialist and gain valuable experience in the sector. You will also have a great work life balance. 

The role:
 *Visual inspection activities, cleaning and reporting to main team 
 *Routine maintenance activities on module mounting systems, fence and gates, inverters and transformer stations
 *Corrective measures as a first responder to help identify issues on PV systems 

The person:
 *1 - 2 years of electrical experience 
 *NVQ Level 2 or 3 (desirable)
 *Clean UK driving licence.
