This successful Engineering company, specialising in Air-Cooling Systems are part of a global company, and now looking for a Junior Finance Assistant / Accounts Admin Assistant looking for their first step on the career ladder to learn the finance and procurement functions of the business.
JUNIOR FINANCE ASSISTANT / ACCOUNTS ADMIN ASSISTANT
LOCATION: Office based - Crawley. You will ideally live within a 20min radius of Crawley. You may be searching for Junior Accounts / Finance Admin jobs in Crawley, West Sussex.
SALARY: £24,000- £25,000 basic, benefits, pension, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, excellent working conditions, onsite parking, nice and bright modern offices, life assurance, company pension.
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm.
As a Junior Finance Assistant, you will be working as part of a close-knit team, providing accounts / finance admin support to the Finance Assistant, answering incoming email and telephone enquiries. Your varied day-to-day data entry activities will include:
* Entering and maintaining purchase order and invoice information on IT system.
* Create and send customer invoices.
* Support and process employee expenses in line with company expense policy.
* Support procurement and finance team members with ad hoc admin duties.
You will be a bright, confident person, perhaps a student with a minimum of 6 GCSE passes, grade 5/6 (B/C grade) in Mathematics and English, with excellent written, verbal and numerical communication skills, a personable telephone manner and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
You will be IT literate, confident in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel with a strong attention to detail and the ability to pick up basic accounting principles quickly and build rapport and relationships with customers, vendors and colleagues easily.
You will be looking to develop a career in Accounting/ Finance, starting out as a Junior Finance Assistant. You will develop your accounting skills, perhaps as an Accounts Receivable Assistant / Junior BookKeeper / Accounts Administrator / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar.
