Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
An award-winning fire and security company in Glasgow is looking for a motivated Junior Fire & Security Engineer to join their growing team. The business is known for training some of the best engineers in the industry and prides itself on delivering high-quality installations and service across commercial and residential projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of experience in fire and security, electrical work, or data cabling to take the next step in their career.

Salary £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
Paid travel and mileage allowance

Your Role Will Include:
Installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV systems
Fault finding, troubleshooting, and reporting
Ensuring all work meets industry standards and compliance regulations
Assisting senior engineers and learning hands-on technical skills
Skills & Experience Required:
At least 1 year of experience in fire and security, electrical work, or data cabling
Experience with CAT5/CAT6/network infrastructure is desirable
Ability to use hand tools, carry out first and second fix, pull cables, terminate cables, and patch panels
Driving license is essential to cover client sites across Glasgow and surrounding areas
ECS/CSCS card, IPAF/PASMA training is desirable but not essential
Enthusiasm, reliability, and willingness to learn
