Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Firmware and Software Engineer at Honeywell. This is a full hybrid role based in the Bristol office.

Key responsibilities
* Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate VHDL code with electronics
* Document development processes and testing procedures
* Provide technical support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure compliance with coding standards and regulatory requirements
Key skills and qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field like Electrical or Computer Engineering
* Experience in embedded systems and microcontroller firmware development
* Ability to modify software and DO-254 knowledge would be desirable
* Familiarity with industry standard tools, debugging tools, and source control systems and also understanding of electronic schematics and hardware interfaces
* Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
* Able to get UK security clearance is a must
