Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Infrastructure Engineer to support and grow within a dynamic IT environment. This hybrid role offers a balance of helpdesk responsibilities and exposure to infrastructure and server administration tasks. You’ll be the first point of contact for IT support, tackling technical issues and supporting projects from start to finish.
This is not your typical entry-level position – the Junior Infrastructure Engineer will be hands-on from day one, working across a variety of systems and gaining insight into all areas from helpdesk to architecture. With the guidance of the IT Infrastructure Manager, you’ll be encouraged to develop your skills and take ownership of key tasks.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:

Strong problem-solving and customer service skills

Confident communicator across all levels

Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
*
Familiarity with Azure AD and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Intune, Exchange Online)

Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, PKI
Desirable:

PowerShell or basic scripting knowledge
*
Exposure to IT support roles (1st or 2nd line)
*
Understanding of Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001, or similar certifications
*
Degree in IT or equivalent experience
