Job Description
Avanti Recruitment are currently working with a company based in London who work within the PropTech sector and are looking to expand the team and hire a Junior Financial Analyst / Software Developer who has experience with Cash Flow Modelling or Internal Rate of Return (IRR). This role will require you to have coding experience with Java/SQL.
The company works in a hybrid way and you will be required in the office 2 days per week (Tuesdays/Wednesdays).
You will find yourself joining a small company of 15, this role will be working across the full software development lifecycle but you will also find yourself working specifically on refactoring a cash flow modelling engine which the company has been working on for the last few years. You will be using Java as your main coding language with SQL and Springboot. You will also gain exposure with React on the front-end, bonus points if you have experience with that already.
Must Have requirements:
* Experience with Java
* Experience with SQL
* Financial modelling experience specifically Cash Flow Modelling and Internal Rate of Return (IRR)
* 2:1 or 1st Class Degree (Ideally in Finance / Mathematic / Computer Science)
Desirable:
* Experience of any relevant coding language (Java preferable as learning Java will be a requirement on the job)
* Stochastic modelling
* Previous Financial Analyst experience

Interview process:
1st stage: Video interview with Director ot tech - 30 minutes
Final - Face to Face interview at the office with the financial team
The salary for this position is up to £50,000 + discretionary Bonus up to 10% + 25 days holiday + Flexible working hoursBefore You Apply
