Junior Mechanical Engineer
£30-35k
Yateley (Hybrid)
You'll play a key role in developing advanced technologies for the offshore, defence, and oceanographic sectors.
You'll help design and develop new and existing products - from concept through to testing - working on mechanical assemblies, prototypes, and performance experiments. You'll gain experience in FEA analysis, mechanical compliance testing, and real-world engineering challenges, all while collaborating closely with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and project managers.
We're looking for someone with curiosity, precision, and drive - a graduate ready to turn ideas into engineered solutions that perform in some of the world's toughest environments.
What you'll do:
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for cutting-edge electro-mechanical systems.
Contribute to prototype testing, performance experiments, and continuous product improvements.
Collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and on time.
Support documentation, product specifications, and test procedures.What we're looking for:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
