Job Title: Junior Mechanical Estimator
Location: Berkshire (Hybrid Available Post-Probation)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm / 7:00am – 4:00pm

The Role
They are now looking for a Junior Mechanical Estimator to join our busy estimating department. They have identified this as a great opportunity for someone junior with a solid foundation in mechanical building services to grow within an experienced and supportive team.
As part of their in-house estimating team (currently comprising 1 Estimating Manager, 2 Electrical Estimators, and 2 Mechanical Estimators), you’ll be involved in assisting with the preparation of competitive mechanical tenders, working on diverse and rewarding projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of detailed mechanical estimates from drawings and specifications
Attend site visits and tender meetings as required
Conduct take-offs and collate supplier and subcontractor quotations
Liaise with engineers, clients, and supply chain to support the estimating process
Maintain estimating records and databases
Support senior estimators in compiling final submission documents
Work collaboratively with the wider commercial and pre-construction team
Salary & Package
Circa £35,000 (DOE)
24 Days Holiday + Birthday Off + Bank Holidays
