Junior Project Manager - Electrical / Solar Projects Location: Leeds (City Centre Office) Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience) + full training & development pathway Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time Job Type: Permanent Are you early in your construction or engineering career and looking to break into the fast-growing renewable energy sector? We're working with an established and rapidly expanding commercial energy solutions provider based in Leeds, now looking for an ambitious Junior Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The Opportunity This is an ideal role for someone with a relevant degree and a couple of years of post-grad experience in construction, M&E, or electrical industries. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of large-scale commercial solar, battery storage, and EV charging projects, with clear progression into a full Project Manager role. This business has grown significantly in recent years, now turning over £40 million annually, with a thriving commercial division that's doubled in size year-on-year. You'll join a close-knit and fast-paced team that values learning, ownership, and innovation. What You'll Be Doing Assist senior project managers in the delivery of commercial energy projects (solar PV, battery storage, EV infrastructure) Support project planning, scheduling, procurement, and reporting Work with technical teams to create and review drawings, documentation, and site surveys Liaise with site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality project execution Contribute to client communications and internal updates Learn to manage budgets, technical specifications, and compliance requirementsWhat We're Looking For Ideally a degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field 1-3 years of experience in the industry Passion for renewables and a desire to build a career in project management Strong communication, organisation, and coordination skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Full UK driving licence Based within commutable distance of LeedsNote: Solar or renewable experience is not required - full training will be provided.
