Junior SHEQ Advisor – Midlands (Civils) Location: Birmingham-based, with travel across the Midlands
Division: Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)

Role Overview Danny Sullivan Group is seeking a Junior SHEQ Advisor to support our civil engineering operations across the Midlands. The successful candidate will work closely with our HSEQ Lead to monitor, advise, and improve health, safety, environmental, and quality performance across multiple sites.
This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in a similar position who understands core HSEQ principles and can apply them practically in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation of HSEQ policies and procedures on site.
Promote a culture of safe working practices across the business.
Assist with the development of risk assessments, method statements, and site-specific HSEQ plans.
Conduct and participate in site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
Maintain records of incidents, near misses, and assist with investigations.
Liaise with site teams, contractors, and clients to support compliance and continuous improvement.
Contribute to internal HSEQ reporting and maintain engagement with relevant authorities and accreditation bodies.Requirements
Valid CSCS card.
NEBOSH General Certificate – preferred but not essential.
IOSH membership – desirable.
Full UK driving licence.
Working knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
Understanding of civil engineering and infrastructure works within a construction environment.Salary & Benefits
