What You'll Be Doing
As a Junior Software Developer, you’ll report to the Developer Team Lead and Head of Operations, working on exciting ERP development projects using Python and PostgreSQL.
You’ll be:
Developing and customising ERP applications to meet business requirements.
Collaborating with functional consultants to design software solutions.
Writing clean, efficient, and well-structured code.
Involved in debugging, testing, and fixing existing implementations.
Taking part in client interactions when technical support is needed.
Participating in project planning and regular update sessions.
Supporting QA efforts through development testing.
Who We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Qualities:
Experience or strong knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL.
Basic understanding of version control (Git preferred).
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Detail-oriented and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.
A team player with good organisational skills.
This "Nice to Have" would set you apart:
Awareness of ERP systems and software development methodologies.
Education & Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field (required).
You must be eligible to work in the UK – this role does not offer sponsorship.
Location & Work Pattern
Based at our Head Office in Kirkham, Lancashire (Preston area).
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
On-site only for the first 12 months—this helps support your early growth and mentorship.
