As Junior Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef across a varied operation, preparing everything from restaurant dining to weddings, conferences, and banqueting.
You'll be responsible for:
Running your own section during prep and service
Supporting the senior kitchen team across multiple kitchens
Preparing fresh dishes to a consistently high standard
Assisting with stock control, portion control, and minimising waste
Maintaining Food Safety and HACCP standards
Training and supporting junior members of the brigadeWhat we're looking for
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie ready to step up or an existing Junior Sous Chef
Fresh food experience within a busy hotel or events operation
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure
