Junior Test, Diagnostic & RCA Engineer
Initial 4 month Contract - Outside of IR35
Milton Keynes and occasional travel to Woking
On site. 45 Hours per week.
*Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.*
About the company
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Milton Keynes, who are seeking a Junior Test Engineer to join their team
Essential Criteria:
Support diagnosis and fault-finding processes on prototype and production electric motors and motor controllers/inverters.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of failed components.
Support the implementation of containment measures to manage identified issues.
Plan and execute test and validation activities on EDM hardware.
Support implementation of corrective and countermeasures to address design or manufacturing issues.
Prepare technical reports including RCA summaries, test results, and activity plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of EDM development milestones.
Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Hands-on experience in test, validation, or diagnostic activities.
Ability to document and communicate findings effectively.
Willingness to be based onsite in Milton Keynes with occasional travel to Woking.
