Job Description
Job Summary
To provide joint administrative and junior planning support to the Town Planning function, assisting in the early-stage planning process including pre-MSV activities, data gathering, document management, and coordination of planning submissions.
This role is designed to support senior planners while developing internal capability in town planning.
Duties
* Support pre-MSV planning activities including planning scope reviews and data collection.
* Collate, review and maintain accurate planning histories and associated documentation.
* Prepare and submit standardised planning documents
* Assist with planning portal reviews and local authority research.
* Update internal systems and trackers to ensure planning data is accurate and up to date.
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to chase outstanding planning information.
* Provide general administrative support to the planning team, including document filing and record management.
* Support junior planning activity on less complex sites under supervision.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and documentation standards.
* Managing and liaising with external suppliers to provide planning support and reports for various planning conditionsBefore You Apply
