Junior Transport Administrator
Bilston
Full-time
8:00am – 5:00pm (1hr lunch)
£12.30 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Transport Administrator for one of our clients in the Bilston area. In this role, you will be working closely with colleagues within the transport department and reporting to the Transport Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career within transport administration, with full training and support provided.
About you:
• Eager to learn and develop within a busy transport office environment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting while remaining organized and focused.
• Motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to take on new challenges.
• Strong computer skills with a willingness to learn systems such as Microsoft Office and transport databases.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and polite manner.
• Able to work well as part of a team and take direction from senior colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards learning.
• Hold a full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
Duties and responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Support the senior transport planners and administrators with day-to-day administrative duties.
• Communicate with drivers and customers.
• Assist with planning the availability of trailers, drivers, and equipment.
• Help with effective route planning to maximise efficiency.
• Process jobs and data onto the database/system accurately.
• Assist drivers and customers with queries and help troubleshoot any issuesBefore You Apply
