Job Title: Key Account Manager  Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum + annual bonus Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield This is a role for a Key Account Manager who makes things happen. An exciting opportunity to join a market-leading furniture manufacturer as a Key Account Manager, owning strategic customer relationships and driving commercial success across the UK. Based at their Sutton-in-Ashfield office, you will be the go-to commercial lead for key accounts, building trust, spotting growth opportunities and delivering results that matter. What You Will Be Responsible For Strategic account management of key furniture retail and distribution partners to deliver budgeted sales and profit targets while improving market position Building strong, long-term relationships with key clients as the main commercial point of contact, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention Driving financial growth by identifying opportunities for account expansion, closing new business deals and growing the existing customer base Leading Key Account Plans and translating long-term goals into short, mid and long-term actions Supporting proposal development and pricing structures that meet client needs and align with business objectives Collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless service, impactful launches and omni-channel activationWhat You Will Bring A couple of years’ experience in sales, business development or account management, ideally within furniture, interiors or home retail A self-motivated and ambitious mindset with a hunger for growth and results Confidence in commercial negotiations and presenting new solutions to clients Strong strategic thinking with the ability to analyse accounts, spot opportunities and build actionable plans A collaborative approach, comfortable working across teams in a fast-paced, international environment Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to turn data into compelling storiesBenefits 30 days holiday per year (including bank holidays) Staff discount on company products High street discount scheme Formal and informal training opportunities Death in service benefitThis Key Account Manager role is high-impact, sales-focused and central to the company’s growth strategy.
