A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Surbiton is looking for a motivated Year 2 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher early in their career who is keen to grow, take ownership of their class, and make a lasting impact on young learners.
About the Role:
You'll be responsible for the full duties of a class teacher - including planning, delivering engaging lessons, assessing progress, writing reports, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
You'll work closely with a supportive leadership team and collaborative staff who are committed to nurturing children's academic, emotional, and social development.
What We're Looking For:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Passion and enthusiasm for teaching at Key Stage 1 - particularly Year 2
A reflective practitioner who is eager to learn and grow professionally
Someone ready to take on the full responsibility of class teaching, including planning and report writing
A team player who builds strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
A current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
