Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons for KS2 pupils in line with the National Curriculum
Promote a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and confidence
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support to meet individual needs
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil achievement and well-being
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders to maintain high standards across the school
Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school's valuesWhat We Are Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 or Year 6 preferred)
A confident, creative, and motivating teaching style
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and the transition to secondary education
Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to children's welfare
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
