KS2 Teaching Assistant Location: Handsworth, Birmingham (B20) Start Date: September 2025 Pay: £455 - £480 per week (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only We are currently recruiting for a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school located in Handsworth, Birmingham (B20). This full-time role starts in September 2025 and offers a fantastic opportunity to support teaching and learning within a vibrant KS2 setting. About the Role: As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will: Support whole-class teaching and learning within the Key Stage 2 site Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation, including resources and materials Work with small groups of pupils on targeted interventions in core subjects such as reading, writing, and maths Support pupils in the classroom, including those with moderate to low-level special educational needs such as Autism or ADHD Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for pupils aged 7-11What We're Looking For: We are seeking someone who: Has previous experience working across KS2 in a classroom setting Has a sound understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum Has ideally spent at least one year working within a primary school Demonstrates a patient, enthusiastic and proactive approach to working with children Has experience working with pupils with SEN (desirable but not essential)Why Work with Us?
