Specialist Teacher - SEND Provision (Full-time, Permanent)
Location: Huddersfield (HD2)
Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed Key Stage 4 (Year 10) Teacher to join a specialist provision this September 2025.
Our client, a leading special education provider, is launching a new site as part of a wider strategic expansion to meet increasing local demand for high-quality SEND education.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a pioneering team from day one, helping to shape an inclusive, nurturing and aspirational learning environment for students with a range of needs including: Autism and/or social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), ASD, ADHD, FASD, anxiety and/or, communication and interaction, cognition, and learning needs.
The Role:
Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that cater to individual needs.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and emotionally supportive classroom culture.
Work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, support staff, and families.
Employ diverse communication strategies to support learning and engagement.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed.
Ensure the well-being, safety, and holistic development of every pupil.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching children with SEND in a mainstream or specialist setting.
Passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for all learners.
Flexible, innovative, and resilient in approach.
