Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a one to one buddy/key worker for a 21 year old man with additional needs including ABI, visual impairment & Epilepsy. You will be responsible for introducing the Young Man to new activities and supporting him to achieve positive outcomes. You will be collecting from day services and work to attend new activities such as theme parks, bingo, museums, beach walks and pool.
The Young Man has a great sense of humour and is able to walk with the aid of his white cane.
He is able to communicate his wishes well and with encouragement can make his own decisions on where and what he would like to go.
You will be working on a rota with another support worker to complement the experiences the young man has.
This is a great chance for you to really get to know the young person and their family and become an integral part in the them achieving Independence and life goals.
