Location: Derby KIA Training Centre Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm Join Our Team! We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Automotive Tutor to deliver outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment at our KIA Training Centre. You’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of Light Vehicle Technicians by providing a safe and engaging learning environment and delivering high-quality practical and theoretical training. What You’ll Do: * Teach Light Vehicle Automotive Engineering and related Motor Vehicle Studies. * Support apprenticeships and frameworks through delivery, assessment, and internal verification. * Act as a personal tutor, guiding students through their learning journey. * Develop engaging resources and integrate functional skills into the curriculum. * Contribute to curriculum planning and continuous improvement initiatives. What We’re Looking For: * Minimum Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (IMI/C&G/BTEC). * Teaching qualification (L3/4 AET/PTLLS/Cert-ed/PGCE). * Strong experience in Light Vehicle repair and diagnosis. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Enhanced DBS clearance. Desirable: * Electric Vehicle and MOT Testing experience. * Assessor’s Award (A1/CAVA) and IQA qualification. Why Join Us?
