This role is suitable for Entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and develop in a kitchen environment or Candidates with some kitchen experience who want a reliable, full-time role.
Staff may be scheduled on a rota to cover day and evening shifts across Wednesdays to Saturday’s, including some flexibility for busy service times or operational needs.

A successful Kitchen Assistant candidate will have these responsibilities:
Washing, peeling, chopping basic vegetables and ingredients for the chefs
Assisting with food preparation
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and storage areas
Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils
Taking deliveries and storing stock correctly
Ensuring waste is disposed of properly and recycling is followed
Supporting the kitchen team with any ad hoc tasks as required
An ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a must
Strong work ethic and reliability
Good time management and ability to work well under pressure
Positive attitude and a team player mentality
Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety (training will be provided)
Physically fit and able to handle kitchen duties, including standing for long periods
Flexible approach to working days and shift patterns, including Saturday’s and evenings
Specific experience isn’t required but would be advantageous
