Job Description
We are currently recruiting a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join the catering team at St Margaret’s Primary School on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with kitchen experience who enjoys working in a school environment and has availability during term-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with food preparation and service during lunch periods
*
Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness standards are met
*
Washing up and general kitchen cleaning
*
Supporting the cook and wider kitchen team as needed
*
Adhering to food safety regulations
Requirements:

Must hold a current Enhanced DBS Certificate (required for working in a school setting)
*
Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food service environment
*
Ability to work efficiently in a busy setting
*
Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
