Job Description
Purpose of the Role
To support the kitchen team by creating a clean, safe, and pleasant dining environment. You'll help with serving meals and ensuring the dining area is kept tidy before, during, and after food breaks.
Hours: 08:30am - 4:30pm
Monday to Friday
Salary: 12.21 to 13ph
Key Responsibilities
- Help open food packages and trays, and assist with trays/cutlery as needed
- Wipe down tables and clear spillages quickly and hygienically
- Ensure a smooth flow of pupils through the dining area
- Empty bins, sweep floors, and ensure the space is clean and ready for use
- Help to serve food
- Help set up and pack away the dining space (tables, chairs, etc.)
- Support with washing up
- Report any concerns or incidents to the senior midday team or school staff

- Enjoys being around children and supporting their needs
- Friendly, patient, and calm under pressure
- Able to follow hygiene and safety practices
- Works well as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
