Your new job role will be working for a large contractor who have recently won a number of large social housing contracts in the North. This contract will be long term (12+ months).
Your new role
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Kitchen Fitter to join our team, working on a social housing bungalow scheme in Oldham. The role involves the installation of Howdens Ridgent carcass units, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet both client and tenant expectations. You will be required to;
Install kitchen units, worktops, and appliances to a high standard, with a focus on Howdens Ridgent carcass systems
Carry out rip-out and full kitchen refits in both void and occupied properties
Fit on average a kitchen per day per one Joiner.
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations and site requirements
Liaise with site supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with tenants
All aspects of Kitchen Fitting including fitting units, fitting corner units and boxing in.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in kitchen fitting, ideally within social housing environments
Familiarity with Howdens kitchen systems, particularly Ridgent carcass units
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
Own tools and transport preferred
CSCS card and relevant qualifications desirableWhat you'll get in return
