This is an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to take full ownership of a busy kitchen, lead a passionate team, and drive standards across food quality, service, and performance.
🚀 The Role
As Kitchen Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the operation - leading from the front during service, developing your team, and ensuring every dish meets the highest standards.
You’ll take responsibility for:
* Delivering consistently high-quality food in a fast-paced environment
* Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing kitchen team
* Driving efficient service during peak trading periods
* Managing stock, ordering, and minimising waste
* Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
* Collaborating with front-of-house to deliver a seamless guest experience
👥 Team Leadership
You’ll play a key role in building and shaping your team by:
* Recruiting and onboarding new team members
* Coaching and developing talent to support internal progression
* Driving engagement, performance, and retention
* Managing rotas in line with business needs and labour targets
* Handling performance and employee relations matters where required
📊 Commercial & Operational Focus
This role goes beyond the kitchen—you’ll also:
* Manage food costs, labour, and kitchen performance against targets
* Analyse KPIs and implement improvements
* Maintain excellent audit results and hygiene standards (targeting 5⭐ ratings)
* Ensure effective stock control and availability
✅ What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef
* Background in high-volume, branded hospitality or QSR environments
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to perform under pressure
* Solid understanding of food safety, compliance, and kitchen operations
* Commercial awareness and confidence working with budgets and KPIs
