At Select, we offer flexible shifts and work patterns to fit your schedule! We are currently seeking hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porters to join us, working within school environments.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly, structured setting, supporting the kitchen team and enjoying the benefits of Monday to Friday shifts with no evenings – finishing no later than 5pm.

Important Requirement As this role is based in schools, you must either:
Already hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or
Be happy for us to process an Enhanced DBS application for you.
As a Kitchen Porter, your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen and catering areas
Cleaning designated areas to a high standard
Taking deliveries and distributing provisions to the correct areas
Collecting rubbish and transporting it to external bins
Working in the pot wash and plate wash areas
Maintaining the cleanliness of floors and general kitchen environment
Assisting other members of the catering team when required
