Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hard-working kitchen porters to join our client’s kitchen team at a Hayling Island hotel, as part of a 6-week kitchen repair project.
SPLIT SHIFTS - 8am–12pm / 6pm-10pm
5 days per week with 2 days off (rota based)
£12.21ph
The ideal candidates will have a background in the restaurant or hospitality industry and have worked in a similar role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Wash, rinse, and sanitise all pots, pans, and cooking utensils used in food preparation and service
* Maintain a clean and organised pot wash area throughout the shift
* Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
* Report any damaged or broken equipment to the kitchen supervisor promptly
REQUIREMENTS
* Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
* Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness
