️ Kitchen Porter - School | Canterbury | £12.21/hour | DBS Required
We're currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support the catering team at a school in Canterbury. This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly environment with consistent school hours and term-time scheduling.
📍 Location: Canterbury
💷 Pay: £12.21 per hour
🕒 Hours: School hours (typically Monday to Friday, term-time only)
📄 DBS Check: Required (must be current or willing to obtain)
Key responsibilities:
Washing up and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment
Assisting with basic food prep and kitchen duties
Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are clean and hygienic
Supporting the catering team with daily operations
Following health and safety procedures
What we're looking for:
A strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
A valid DBS certificate or willingness to undergo a check
