Job Description
Contract Options is currently seeking reliable and motivated Kitchen Porters to support our clients across various locations, including public and private schools, care homes, hospitals, and office canteens. This role requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in fast-paced catering environments.
Locations:
Reading, Hook, Basingstoke, Winnersh, Henley-on-Thames, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Didcot, Oxford
Contract Type:
Temporary roles – Monday to Friday
(Some flexibility may be required based on client needs)
About the Role – Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with general kitchen duties, including washing up and cleaning
* Supporting chefs and kitchen teams as needed
* Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations
⏰ Working Hours:
* Typical shifts are Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM
* Days and times may vary depending on client requirements
✅ Requirements:
* Minimum of one year’s experience in a catering or hospitality environment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and professional
* Flexibility to work at different sites within the listed areas
Salary:
Starting from £12.21 per hour, with potential for higher pay depending on location and assignment
