We are seeking an experienced and proactive Auditor to join our Follow-Up and External Audit section within the Internal Audit Department in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. This critical role ensures that audit findings lead to measurable corrective action and that external audit coordination is seamless and comprehensive.

Your Role & Responsibilities
As an Auditor in this function, you will coordinate the follow-up of audit recommendations and lead the company’s engagement with external auditors.
Key duties include:

Leading follow-up activities to confirm audit item closures and corrective actions

Assigning responsibilities to internal auditors to optimize manpower
*
Preparing and presenting periodic follow-up reports to KJO Management and the Audit Committee
*
Coordinating closely with external auditors to ensure full logistical and documentation support
*
Reviewing external audit reports and ensuring timely responses from departments
*
Advising departments on resolving audit findings and implementing control measures
*
Preparing annual audit schedules and ensuring timely audit execution
*
Participating in internal control and audit committee meetings
*
Assisting in budget preparation for the follow-up and external audit section
*
Supervising junior auditors and coaching team members to enhance their performance
*
Promoting a culture of safety, compliance, and collaboration
*
Performing related duties as assigned by senior management
What You Bring
✔ Degree: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or Industrial Project Management
✔ Certification: CIA, CPA, CISA, CFE, or equivalent professional auditing qualification
✔ Experience: Minimum 5 years in auditing, assurance, or external audit coordination
✔ Preferred Skills: Familiarity with SAP audit modules and oil & gas software such as OpenWells and DCS
✔ Language: Upper-Intermediate English (KJO Level 5 or higher)
✔ Strengths: Communication, audit trail validation, audit closure planning, external audit interface
