We are seeking a highly skilled Drilling Rig Supervisor (Day Shift) for offshore operations in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will represent the company onboard a drilling rig on a 24-hour rotational schedule, directing contractors, ensuring operational progress, coordinating with the onshore base, and maintaining strict compliance with safety and operational standards.

Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Drilling Rig Supervisor, you will take full operational control over drilling and workover activities during your assigned offshore day shifts.
Key duties include:

Supervising and directing offshore drilling and workover operations on a 24-hour basis
*
Liaising with contractors, coordinating services, reviewing performance, and issuing service orders
*
Conducting equipment inspections and ensuring proper use of company materials
*
Monitoring and troubleshooting rig performance, drilling conditions, and service provider outputs
*
Communicating regularly with onshore base for logistics and operational reporting
*
Reviewing and executing drilling/workover programs in alignment with operational objectives
*
Managing rig moves, anchor handling, boat and helicopter logistics coordination
*
Preparing daily reports covering drilling status, materials, costs, 7-day lookahead, and KPIs
*
Ensuring all rig operations meet HSE standards and company procedures
*
Overseeing material usage and ensuring accurate procurement and storage
*
Reviewing contractor invoices and progress against scope and contract terms
*
Escalating discrepancies and supporting timely issue resolution
What You Bring
✔ Degree: Bachelor’s in Petroleum Engineering
✔ Experience: Minimum 8 years in drilling operations, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role overseeing contractor work offshore
✔ Language: Advanced English (KJO Level 5 or above)
✔ Skills: Contractor coordination, rig operation leadership, logistics, reporting, safety compliance
