We are hiring an experienced Rotating Equipment Specialist to join the Engineering Support Division in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. This high-level technical role involves providing in-house consultancy and expert advice on complex rotating equipment issues within the oil and gas sector. You’ll help define standards, solve unprecedented technical challenges, and ensure operational excellence across major engineering initiatives.

Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Rotating Equipment Specialist, you will support design, operations, and maintenance by resolving complex technical issues, inspecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with standards and cost targets.
Key duties include:

Providing technical consultation and in-house troubleshooting for rotating and mechanical equipment
*
Visiting plant sites to diagnose issues and recommend solutions
*
Leading engineering efforts in undefined or developing areas of technical standards
*
Developing project plans and novel engineering solutions for unique challenges
*
Acting as a technical expert in the interpretation of standards and complex assignments
*
Inspecting equipment at vendor facilities to ensure procurement compliance
*
Implementing cost control procedures across engineering projects
*
Coaching and mentoring junior engineers to build in-house capability and succession planning
*
Preparing accurate and timely reports for decision-makers and stakeholders
*
Ensuring safety, health, and environmental standards are upheld in all engineering activities
*
Providing backup to mechanical and rotating equipment engineers when required
What You Bring
✔ Degree: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
✔ Experience: Minimum 12 years in rotating equipment within the oil & gas industry
✔ Language: Advanced English (KJO Level 6 or above)
✔ Skills: Expert-level understanding of mechanical systems, diagnostics, vendor inspection, and cross-disciplinary coordination
