Are you a highly experienced process engineer seeking your next impactful opportunity? We are actively recruiting a Senior Process Engineer to support the Facilities Planning Division (FPD) of Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) — a major joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Kuwait Gulf Oil Company.
This is a 1-year fixed-term assignment based in Khafji, a key oil & gas operations hub located on the Saudi-Kuwait border. This role is ideal for professionals seeking a high-profile project, tax-free earnings, and the chance to contribute to long-term energy infrastructure strategy.
Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will work directly with the Facilities Planning Management Superintendent, supporting concept development and strategic planning for production facilities.
Key duties include:

Leading feasibility studies and conceptual designs for capital investment projects

Providing expert-level consultation to internal engineering and planning teams
*
Interpreting technical codes and ensuring compliance with company standards
*
Reviewing technical documents, vendor bids, and equipment specifications
*
Supporting project budgeting and cost control throughout the development cycle
*
Mentoring junior engineers and fostering local engineering capabilities
*
Diagnosing abnormal system behavior and recommending timely technical solutions
*
Preparing and presenting detailed reports for internal and stakeholder review
What You Bring
✔ Degree: Bachelor’s in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
✔ Experience: 15+ years in oil & gas process engineering (upstream or facility planning preferred)
✔ Language: Advanced English (equivalent to KJO Level 6 or higher)
✔ Age: Candidates must be 60 years old or younger at the time of contract start
✔ Skills: Strong in conceptual design, feasibility studies, simulation software, technical leadership
