Pay Scale: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum
Are you an Early Career Teacher ready to begin your first teaching role in a supportive and high-achieving primary school? We are working with an Outstanding school in Wallingford that is seeking a KS1 Class Teacher to join their team from January 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated ECT to start their teaching journey in a school that values collaboration, professional development, and pupil wellbeing. You'll be supported by experienced colleagues and a strong leadership team every step of the way.
Requirements for the KS1 Class Teacher:
QTS
A sound understanding of the KS1 curriculum
Placement experience in UK primary schools (KS1 preferred)
A proactive, warm, and engaging approach to teachingKey Responsibilities for the KS1 Class Teacher:
Teach a KS1 class, supporting academic progress and personal growth
Work closely with colleagues and benefit from mentoring and guidance
Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Contribute to wider school life, including clubs and school eventsThe school also benefits from a strong SEN provision, with a dedicated team to support planning, differentiation, and classroom practice-helping you feel confident as you begin your career.
