KS1 Class Teacher - Slough
Full-time | January 2026 start | Long-term contract until July 2026 | Open to ECTs and experienced teachers
Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a well-regarded 3-form entry primary academy in Slough to recruit a dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join their friendly and supportive team from January 2026. This is a long-term position for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will join a collaborative year group team, where planning is shared and support from subject leaders and senior staff is readily available. The school has a clear behaviour policy and a welcoming atmosphere where staff feel valued and listened to.
The Role:
Full-time KS1 class teacher (Year group to be confirmed based on experience).
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Work closely with the parallel class teachers to share ideas and planning.
Assess pupil progress, provide effective feedback and ensure all children make strong progress.
Attend staff meetings, parent consultations, and INSET days as required.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Recent experience teaching in KS1 within a UK primary school.
A good understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to providing a positive, inclusive learning environment.
