Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to support primary-aged pupils in a vibrant school setting?
GSL Education are currently recruiting for a KS1/KS2 Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Sheffield. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about helping children succeed academically and socially.
Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting class teachers in delivering engaging lessons and providing targeted help to pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring all learners are supported and included.
Responsibilities as a TA:
Assist with the preparation and delivery of lessons in KS1 and KS2 classrooms.
Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with varying needs.
Encourage active participation, emotional well-being, and positive behaviour.
Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
Familiarity with the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum.
A patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.
An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps).
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
